How possibility becomes record, what gravity does and does not do, and the exact point at which this account stops explaining and starts assuming.
Bell and Kochen-Specker do not block this account. They mark where it is permitted to stand.
This costs the framework its own most famous image, and the correction is worth stating plainly. The blur is not a photograph of something crisp that a faster shutter would reveal. There is no picture before the exposure. What the shutter carries is the rate claim, that exploration outruns stabilization, and not a claim about a preimage waiting to be developed.
The association every physicist makes within one sentence. Naming it costs nothing and settles it.
| Diósi-Penrose | This account | |
|---|---|---|
| Dynamics | adds a collapse term | unchanged |
| Amplitude | destroyed | preserved |
| Gravity's job | causes collapse | paces, individuates |
| Spontaneous radiation | predicted | none |
| Experimental status | parameter-free version excluded, 2021 | unconstrained by those searches |
Both hold that gravity is implicated in definiteness. They part on whether gravity is the agent of selection. Here it is not, which is why the underground searches that constrain Diósi-Penrose place no constraint on this.
The borrowed half. All established physics, and it supports the tempo claim only.
The last line is the framework's strongest anchor to working physics and its most over-claimable. It supports the pacing, that curvature sets the rate at which coherence is lost, and it supports nothing else here. It does not supply definiteness, because it is a decoherence result, and this account's whole position is that decoherence does not make records.
The previous plate answered the central question with the answer this framework rejects. It drew a projection operator, which is non-unitary by construction, on the same sheet as an explicit statement that evolution is unitary. It said decoherence selects a single history. And its geometry funnelled many into one, which is the collapse story told in shape rather than in words, and which no relabelling would have fixed.
This plate has no funnel, no projector, and no selection. What it has instead is a hole in the middle, at full size, with a name on it.
