About the Artist
Jon Farhat is an Academy Award® and BAFTA® nominated Visual Effects Supervisor, Director and Conceptual Illustrator, working in the motion picture industry for over 30 years. Farhat has supervised and designed stunning visual sequences in films such as Book Of Eli, Wanted, Nutty Professor, Dead Man, The Interpreter and the Mask. His vast range of style centers around a love for characters and states of 'being'.

Odalisque and the Eunich
"Lady Jane of Maasai considers the magnitude of the setting sun". Brush stylus painting on a tablet. 6000x4000px. Odalisque, tended to by the Eunich is one of the most popular scenes of western 18th century pulp. The language is erotic and would work using sacks of flour. The subject draped in linens and looking over her shoulder while an attendant provides music and comfort. It was a body language that would be repeated as popular art for an entire century and beyond.
